So great that I dont have to find the chart I bookmarked in Safari to convert US hook sizes to metric!! Such a time saver!

Very basic instructions for crochet. Another review mentioned videos but there are none that I found, with only a few basic drawings per stitch. I guess as a freebie it is ok.

I was hoping this app would be a handy crochet reference. The app splash screen boasts "instructions" which i feel is extremely misleading -- literally the full title of the abbreviations are provided and nothing more with regard to the stitches themselves -- no additional instruction or reference as to how to do them (i.e. yarn over pull through one loop etc..) -- not at all what I was looking for. Very disappointed...

this app is amazing cheat sheet to translate pattern abbreviations into words. the description specifically says that this is not a tutorial or instructions for crochet - you should already have those skillz if you need this tool!

This is not an app for someone wanting to learn to crochet, you already need those skills. However, it is a great app for those with crochet experience who are ready to write their own patterns or just need some reference with abbreviations. It specifically states it isnt a tutorial. This app is strictly reference and does just what it says it will.

Im a beginner and there were crochet videos with all the crochet language that i didnt understand and this decoder helped me decipher the videos!! Lovvvve it! Cant wait until they incorporate the videos on the how tos!!

All it does is tell you what abbreviations stand for does not include what stitch looks like or instruction on how to do stitch. Thought it would be more of a handy reference that way.

Dont waste your money

Good app! I just started to learn how to crochet and I feel more confident I can have this handy app with my while trying to figure out the abbreviations. I had no idea what the heck those abbreviations meant! This looks like a neat craft so far. The app says what its supposed to do so 5 stars from me! Will recommend this app to my friends. Works well on my iPhone and iPod touch. Functionality is great!

This is a wonderful app that I have advised my crochet group to use! It not only gives you all the hook and yarn sizes, this app also has every abbreviation there is. You can now read patterns and have a way look up those abbreviations so that they make sense. It also has the stitches for diagrams!

It used to be a two star app, tough to see the symbols, no info other than definitions. Now the symbols are clear, and you get more info. Definitely worth 99 cents!

Not nearly enough stitches. Save the .99and go buy a good ref book.

Anything in this app is easily available for free. Terrible organization. Overall confusion. Advertisements, even though one paid for the application.

Now Ive got a great reference on my phone! No more flipping through pages of stuff. And I can decipher a diagram!

Ok. Not exactly what I thought I would get, bare to minimal stitches and information. Like stated before all of this info is easily available for free. Also the stitch instructions arent a very easy to follow, especially if you are a beginner.
